Inglês was chosen as the chairwoman of the National Electoral Commission
(CNE), in the ambit of the preparatory process of the 2012 general
elections, ANGOP has learnt.
The appointment comes after a public competition held by the Higher Council of the Judicial Magistracy, says a communiqué issued by this organ.
Suzana Inglês was chosen among four candidates, during an ordinary session of the Higher Council of the Judicial Magistracy, held on January 16, to analyse and approve the proposal of the Jury.
The other candidates were the jurists Joaquim Abreu Cangato, Manuel Pereira da Silva and Félix Sebastião.
